Warlord Games Shows Us What’s in the Starter Box for Strontium DogJuly 18, 2018
Warlord Games recently launched it’s new Sci-Fi skirmish game, Strontium Dog, set in the 2000 AD comic book universe created by John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra.
If you’re thinking about jumping into Warlord’s new skirmish game Strontium Dog, you’ve probably seen the starter set entitled The Good, The Bad & The Mutie. By far the best way to get into the game, the box gives you everything you need to start playing. At £50/$60 the contents of the box are great value, but what exactly do you get? Here’s a rundown of what’s in the Strontium Dog Starter Set and how it gets you into the game quickly.
Included in the box is:
- 8 metal miniatures
- A softcover, A4-sized, 112 pages rulebook
- Scenario booklet
- Character cards
- CHICANERY & ARMOURY card decks
- 7-piece MDF Solar Farm scenery set
- Two sprues of plastic tokens
- 8 six-sided combat dice
What’s not in the box? Judge Dredd. But that’s a story for another day, I’m sure. If you’re interested in picking it up, you can order the $60 (US) starter set at your FLGS, or you can get it direct from Warlord’s online store with free shipping.
